This review is part of a series of publications by the authors that explore the significance of the Arkhangelsk Regional Dictionary (ARD) for Russian dialect lexicography. Issue 24 of the dictionary, as well as the two subsequent issues (25 and 26), is dedicated to the 270th anniversary of Moscow University and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Oksana Gerasimovna Getsova. She was the initiator of ARD's creation, the author of its concept, its editor, and the compiler of its entries. The review discusses the dictionary's type, combining principles of differential and comprehensive dictionaries, and its place in Russian lexicographic practice. It notes that the initial principle of ARD compilation was differential, but project leader Oksana G. Getsova and her colleagues revised this approach; from Issue 12, common vocabulary paralleled in the literary language was actively included, making the dictionary more systematic and substantive. It acquired contours of a comprehensive dictionary-thesaurus, akin to Vladimir I. Dal's "Explanatory Dictionary of the Living Great Russian Language," as seen in the "Dictionary of Russian Folk Dialects" and "Pskov Regional Dictionary." The article examines the content and form of ARD Issue 24, evaluating essential aspects of structure and content: card index, headwords, diversity of semantic structures of dictionary units across parts of speech, lexical-semantic word groups, proper and common nouns, etc. The conclusion highlights the substantial scholarly and artistic value of this issue, resulting from the work of a large, cohesive team continuing the traditions established by Oksana G. Getsova at its creation.
